Saturday 14th June saw our first ever introduction to hand-weaving using brand-new, 8 shaft Ashford table-looms. The looms were set up in a more advanced fashion than might be expected for beginners, but the class stepped-up to the challenge! We learned how to follow lifting plans, wind bobbins, make yarn wraps and weave! Here are some examples of what was achieved during the session…
